The smartphone app is the orientation guide for exhibitors and visitors of the fair. Receive inspiration through news and twitter messages on the highlights of the exhibition. There is a
variety of first class events to attend such as lectures, presentations and competitions.
Furthermore, the smartphone app guides you through the exhibition ground (site and hall plan) and through the practical exhibitor and product search.

A regular train service is provided from Frankfurt Airport to Frankfurt Central Station (Frankfurt/Main Hbf) by suburban service lines S8 or S9 as indicated.

From Frankfurt Central Station you have four possibilities to get to the fair. Take the suburban train (S-Bahn) from basement platform 104, lines S3 (Bad Soden) , S4 (Kronberg) , S5 (Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf), S6 (Friedberg/Groß Karben). The second stop is “Messe” (Torhaus station).

Or take the subway (U-Bahn) , line U4 (Bockenheimer Warte) to the next station “Festhalle/Messe”, arriving at the exhibition center, entrance City.

Or use the tramway/streetcar: line 16 (direction ”Ginnheim”) or line 17 (direction ”Rebstockbad”) to the stop “Festhalle/Messe”. Walking takes approximately 15 minutes (to Entrance Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage).

By car: from any motorway to “Westkreuz Frankfurt”, then motorway A 648, destination “Stadtmitte“ or “Messe”. Follow the signs to “Messe”. You will be directed to Messe Parkplatz Rebstock, from where free shuttle buses will take you to the fairgrounds.

Car-park shuttles: Free car-park shuttle service between the Rebstock parking area and the exhibition ground (Entrance Portalhaus) on the trade fair days.

Fairground Shuttles: During the exhibition this free shuttle service runs 90 minutes before the
exhibition and 90 minutes after the exhibition. On the last day of the
exhibition it runs only until 06:00 pm.

The ordering deadline for parking permits is six weeks before the start of the event. Please order them in our Shop for Exhibitor Services. 

Parking permits will not be sent by mail until the ordering deadline has passed.

In the event that there are still parking permits available after the ordering deadline has passed, the deadline will be extended in the shop so that permits can once again be ordered. 

In the event that there is available capacity, parking permits can be bought at the Service Counter on Level 2 of the Torhaus during the final two days of set-up.

Following the event, the exhibitor will be charged for the parking permit(s) as part of the ancillary costs.

Driving onto the exhibition grounds and parking during the event

The parking permit authorises the holder to park on the exhibition grounds on every day of the event, and is only valid for a car with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 2.5 t.

For the purposes of delivering goods, it is possible to enter the exhibition grounds without a parking permit for one hour during the days of the event; on the final day of the event this is only possible until 2:00 p.m.

To do so, each driver must leave a deposit of €100.00 at the entry gate. This deposit will be forfeited if the vehicle has not left the exhibition grounds by the specified time.

Driving onto the exhibition grounds and parking during set-up and dismantling

During set-up and dismantling, one must first drive to the check-in at the Rebstock car park in order to enter the exhibition grounds. Here, vehicle admission passes are issued, or the material is transferred to the “Lasten-Shuttle” and taken into the exhibition grounds. The occupants of the vehicle require set-up and dismantling passes. They can be obtained via the category “passes” in our Shop for Exhibitor Services.

Car Trailer Parking Permit for the Exhibition Grounds

Registration is possible beginning ten weeks be fore the start of the trade fair. Once you have registered successfully, you will receive a confirmation of registration via email which you can print out and bring with you to the Check-In. All vehicles (passenger vehicles and trucks), must first pass through the Check-In. This is the only place where access to the exhibition center will be finally authorised. During the official days of the fair all exhibitor tickets include free travel to and from the exhibition center using the local public transport system RMV (detailed information provided by www.rmv.de). Please note that you have to provide your ticket in printed form (including your printed name) and your ID when asked for while travelling. These tickets are for exhibitors and their staff members only and should, in no case, be passed on to customers. The exhibitor ticket entitles the holder to admittance to the exhibition center and the halls one hour before the official opening time.

On the last day of setting-up, admission is valid from noon on, but is not yet valid for free travel with public transportation. Please note that exhibitor tickets must be scanned every time when leaving or entering the exhibition center. Exhibitors holding parking permits for the exhibition center (available from Fraport AG, HVM-PV, Park-Service-Messe, 60547 Frankfurt am Main, phone: +49 69 690 744 54, fax: +49 69 690 59 717 or parken.messe@fraport.de) can reach P1 and P2 via Gate East, P3 and P4 via Gate North or Gate South, P9 via Gate 9 and P12 via Gate West. Alternatively use the Rebstock parking area. The multi-storey car park has space for 5.300 cars on seven levels. The daily parking charge is € 14.00 in the parking garage and € 10.00 in the outdoor area.

Trucks: Rebstock parking area, section E 1. The parking of fair-construction vehicles at the Rebstock area during the fair is charged € 25.00 per day for vehicles up to 10 m long and € 29.00 per day for vehicles over 10 m long. The charges are payable in cash or credit card at the entrance to the parking site. The last day of the fair is free of charge for positioning the vehicles.

 

There are no pharmacies at the exhibition center, but a pharmacy service for prescribed medicine is offered at the central information desk, located in the Service Center Torhaus, phone: +49 69 75 75-13 04 and +49 69 75 75-13 33.
If you hand in your prescription before 11:00 am, your medication will be brought to your booth if desired or you can pick it up at the central information desk.

Taking pictures in the halls or on the outdoor grounds of the exhibition center, as well as carrying photo equipment of any sort is strictly prohibited (except for members of the press). Mobile phones (mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones, tablets, etc.), may be carried, but not used for photography.

Exhibitors can obtain “photography forbidden” pictograms at their hall manager’s office.

Photography after event opening hours:

Taking pictures of your stand after opening hours is due to a fee, requires a written permission and is only possible if the photographer is accompanied by security personnel. Use the press area as a platform for the distribution of your press releases and information material (free of charge).
The press compartments are located in the press centre in the Torhaus, level 4 and are sufficient for DIN A4 (dimensions of the compartments: 31x10x31cm). Just bring your press material to our Press Center in the Torhaus, level 4 on the day before the trade fair begins and then you don’t have to worry about anything. We will label the press compartment with the name of your company, making it easy to find for journalists looking for information about your company. We store your press material, regularly check your press compartment and refill it for you.

The Printing Service of Messe Frankfurt supplies digital prints in print-runs of 100 copies or more. We fold your prints or bind them with an adhesive binding. For further information, please contact the print shop of Messe Frankfurt: +49 69 75 75-64 68.

During the official days of the fair all personalized exhibitor tickets in printed form include free travel to and from the exhibition center using the local public transport system RMV (detailed information provided by www.rmv.de). Train tickets for the German Railway can be obtained at the central station as well as at the suburban train track platform “Messe”.

Exhibitors can pick up their catalogue at their hall manager’s office upon presentation of their exhibitor’s pass.

Special dismantling vehicle passes entitle cars and vans up to 3.5 t gross vehicle weight rating to enter the exhibition grounds as soon as the trade fair has closed, and are only available from the Central Information Desk on Level 2 of the Torhaus.

You can obtain these special dismantling vehicle passes by signing a declaration that you will be charged an additional €200.00 when invoiced for your ancillary costs if you do not leave the exhibition grounds with your vehicle by the deadline specified in the pass. Special dismantling vehicle passes will only be issued to exhibitors upon presentation of an exhibitor ID and customer number.

There are only a limited number of these vehicle passes available, so we recommend that you obtain yours as early as possible. They cannot be ordered in advance.

Are you planning to have a stand party for your customers at the end of the exhibition day? Please note that stand parties must be announced at our shop for exhibitor services and can be carried out from 6 pm to midnight. Please be aware that the time frame you announced is binding for the end of your party and that per every hundred guests one security guard is obligatory. Until 10 pm your Stand Party is free of costs. After the charge for every started hour after 10 pm is € 1,000.

Abfallentsorgung bei der Messe Frankfurt

Massage, relaxation, quality breaks and powernapping are offered at our brainLight Lounge , located at Torhaus, level 3, next to the supermarket. A 14 minutes session is available from € 2.00 on.

Wireless Local Area Network - free wireless surfing throughout the exhibition grounds. This service is suitable for accessing websites and occasionally checking and sending emails. The maximum bandwidth is 1Mbit/s per user, but can vary depending upon the location on the fair - grounds and number of users. For transmission of large amounts of datasuch as VoIP, phoning, video streaming, press photos, presentations, etc., you, as an exhibitor, require individual WLAN / WiFi products, which can be ordered against a fee through the online Shop for Exhibitor Services.
