Information on set-up and dismantling

Early setup

  • The early setup is generally free of charge.
  • In halls 3, 4, 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 9.1, 11.1 and 12 the early setup is available only for stands from 150m².
  • The early setup starts on Friday 31.1.2020 at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. that day.
  • To book early setup, please visit the Shop for Exhibitor Services.

Please take note that you need to register your vehicles in order to access the fairground and to reduce waiting times at the gates. For the vehicles online registration please click here.

Regular setup

  • Regular setup is generally free of charge.
  • The stand setup in halls 1, 3, 4, 6, 8.0, 9.0, 9.1, 11 and 12 starts on Saturday 1.2.2020 at 00.01 a.m. and ends on Thursday 6.2.2020 at 03:00 p.m.
  • Please take note that all aisles must be cleared on Thursday, 6.2.2020 by 03:00 p.m.

Dismantling (free of charge)

  • The dismantling free of charge starts at 11.2.2020, 9 p.m. and ends at 13.2.2020, 9 p.m.

Please note: Before 8 p.m., it will only be possible to carry out dismantling work on the stand itself because the time until then is reserved for removing the carpeting from the aisles and the distribution of empty packaging materials by the Logistics services. Dismantling vehicles will be permitted to enter the exhibition centre from 9 p.m.

Early setup

  • In halls 9.2, 9.3, and 10 the early setup is available for all stand sizes and free of charge.
  • The early setup starts on Friday 31.1.2020 at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 11:59 p.m. that day.
  • To book early setup, please visit the Shop for Exhibitor Services.

Regular setup

  • In halls 9.2, 9.3, and 10 the stand construction (without goods, exhibition items and decorative materials delivery) starts on Saturday 01.02.2020 at 00:01 a.m. and must be completely done on Tuesday, 4.2.2020 by latest 09:00 p.m.
  • The delivery of goods, exhibition items and decorative materials is only permitted as long as the stand construction is done and the aisles are free. The delivery must be done by Thursday 6.2.2020 at 04:00 p.m.
  • The unpacking of goods must be completed by 06:00 p.m. on Thursday, 6.2.2020 and the aisles must be cleared.
  • The aisles must be clear by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday 6.2.2020. Stand decoration and displaying the samples may only be continued within the stand space. Laying of carpets

Please be sure to note the following dates and deadlines:

  • Submission of stand construction plans requiring approval: 13.12.2019
  • Deadline for ordering suspensions: 23.12.2019
  • Starting date for the express surcharge on certain services: 17.01.2020
  • Deadline for ordering electricity: 27.01.2020

Please understand that we are unable to carry out any orders for suspensions or electricity that are received after the dates noted above.

Express surcharge

We are happy to support your efforts to make your trade fair a success. To ensure that all services can be made available in a timely manner, we ask that you place your orders in the Shop for Exhibitor Services by no later than 16 January 2020.

Naturally you can also place orders shortly before the event or even while it is in process. Please note, however, that increased expenditures are required to provide certain services with extensive planning/personnel requirements at short notice. As a result, some services related to suspensions, compressed air, electricity and water connections, stand cleaning and security are subject to an express surcharge in the amount of 25% of the service price for all orders received 21 days or less before the event.

  • The site map (PDF) offers you an overview of all the exhibition areas at Ambiente 2020.
  • The interactive hall plan gives you an overview of the exhibition halls, including all the exhibitor details. You can also make targeted searches for specific exhibitors.

Accessing the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling phases

Messe Frankfurt’s new Central Traffic Management system has offered customer vehicles optimised access to the exhibition grounds during the set-up and dismantling phases of events. For this purpose, we ask exhibitors, stand construction companies and freight forwarders to register online in advance.

Once you have a print-out of the registration confirmation, you can go to the specified check-in. Please follow the signs from the motorway exit F-Rebstock (address for your navigation device: Bruno-Poelke-Strasse).

During the set-up and dismantling phase (incl. early set-up and extended dismantling), vehicles may only access the exhibition grounds through the check-in. Here, the check-in staff will see whether a loading zone is available for you. If it is, you will be given an authorisation form specifying the gate through which you can access the exhibition grounds.

Please note: In case of high volume of traffic waiting times are possible at the check-in!
Please note that only vehicles with an authorisation form will be allowed on to the exhibition grounds.
