Regular set-up starts on 8 March 2023.
You can commence with the advanced set-up of your stand in some hall levels on 28 February 2023.
Below are the set-up and dismantling times for your ISH 2023 planning.
During the entire set-up and dismantling times, work can be carried out non-stop in the halls, i.e. 24 hours a day.
Advanced set-up (after registration)
Date: 28.02. – 7.03.2023 from 7 a.m. until Midnight
Advanced set-up is only possible in some hall levels.
Please note that, if you want to use the advanced set-up you have to register for it. Please register for advanced set-up at the Shop for Exhibitor Services.
Regular set-up (free of charge)
Date: 8.03. – 12.03.2023
- 8.03.2023: from 7 a. m. until Midnight
- 9.03. - 12.3.2023: 24 hours a day
Please note: On the last set-up day, 12 March 2023, the aisles must be clear from 3 p.m. for carpet installation. From this time onwards, further decoration may only be carried out on the stand area.
Regular Dismantling (free of charge)
Date: 17.03. – 20.03.2023
From 17.03.2023 5 p.m. until 20.03.2023 Midnight (24h / day)
In all halls. Vehicles are allowed to enter the fair ground after 5 p.m. on 17 March, when the delivery of packing materials is completed. Vehicle can only enter the exhibition centre ground after they were checked in at the Rebstock parking area.
Please note: Every vehicle that wishes to enter the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling must first register and report to the Check-In. Registration for Check-in is possible 10 weeks before the event.
At first you can only carry out the dismantling work on your stand space, during this time the carpet in the aisles will be removed in order to avoid further disturbances during the dismantling phase.
Delivery of empty packing material: The regular delivery starts on 17 March 2023 at 3:00 am. Before this time the only possible delivery is a prior delivery of empty packaging material, max. 15 cwm per exhibitor. (Attention: Please note that these deliveries are limited, please order as soon as possible!)
The rest of the empty packing materials will be delivered to the stands until 18 March 2023, 8:00 a.m.
Extended dismantling (after registration)
Date: 21.03. – 22.03.2023
Daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Only allowed in particular hall levels
Please note that, if you want to use this extended dismantling time you have to register for it at the Shop for Exhibitor Services. Please remember to also register for entry to the exhibition grounds via our electronic entry system at www.einfahrt.messefrankfurt.com/ees/deliverer! The application for the extended stand construction times does not replace the registration for the entrance to the fairgrounds!
Please be sure to note the following dates and deadlines:
- Submission of stand construction plans requiring approval: 25.1.2023
- Deadline for ordering suspensions: 30.01.2023
- Starting date for the express surcharge on certain services: 20.2.2023
- Deadline for ordering electricity: 08.03.2023
Please understand that we are unable to carry out any orders for suspensions or electricity that are received after the dates noted above.

We are happy to support your efforts to make your trade fair a success. To ensure that all services can be made available in a timely manner, we ask that you place your orders in the Shop for Exhibitor Services by no later than 19. February 2023.
Naturally you can also place orders shortly before the event or even while it is in process. Please note, however, that increased expenditures are required to provide certain services with extensive planning/personnel requirements at short notice. As a result, some services related to suspensions, compressed air, electricity and water connections, stand cleaning and security are subject to an express surcharge in the amount of 25% of the service price for all orders received 21 days or less before the event.
Parking and traffic regulations and other important information for driving onto the exhibition grounds (vehicle registration)
Accessing the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling phases
Messe Frankfurt’s new Central Traffic Management system has offered customer vehicles optimised access to the exhibition grounds during the set-up and dismantling phases of events. For this purpose, we ask exhibitors, stand construction companies and freight forwarders to register online in advance.
Once you have a print-out of the registration confirmation, you can go to the specified check-in. Please follow the signs from the motorway exit F-Rebstock (address for your navigation device: Bruno-Poelke-Strasse).
During the set-up and dismantling phase (incl. early set-up and extended dismantling), vehicles may only access the exhibition grounds through the check-in. Here, the check-in staff will see whether a loading zone is available for you. If it is, you will be given an authorisation form specifying the gate through which you can access the exhibition grounds.
Please note: In case of high volume of traffic waiting times are possible at the check-in!
