Information on set-up and dismantling

Advanced set-up (subject to charge)

If required, early stand construction can be requested for a fee.

Minimum stand size for continuous early set-up from Wednesday, 11.11.2026: 200 m² or two-storey stand construction.

Set-up

  • 12 November 2026, 7:00 a.m. till midnight
  • 13 – 15 November 2026 daily 24 hours
  • 16 November 2026 until 6:00 p.m.

Attention: On 16 November 2026 from 6:00 p.m. carpet laying in the corridors, assembly only possible within the stands! 

Exhibition stands that have not been set up by November 16, 2026, 3:00 p.m. will be designed by the organizer, unless they are otherwise disposed of. Any resulting costs will be borne by the exhibitor.

Please note: Cars, vans and trucks will not be allowed to enter the exhibition grounds before approx. 6:30 p.m.

  • 20 November 2026, 4:00 p.m. - midnight 
  • 21– 22 November 2026 daily 24 hours
  • 23 November 2026, 0:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Please note: Cars up to 3.5 tons can access the halls from P12 or via Gate West between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., but must either return to P12 or leave the site completely at 6:00 p.m. Please note, that no (freight-) elevators are available between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The regular dismantling entrance begins at approx. 6:30 p.m., empties will be delivered after the aisle carpets have been removed.

Please be sure to note the following dates and deadlines:

  • Submission of stand construction plans requiring approval: 30 September 2026
  • Deadline for ordering suspensions: 6 October 2026
  • Registration deadline for advanced set-up: 30 October 2026
  • Order deadline for parking tickets: 20 November 2026
  • Order deadline for electricity, water, natural gas, compressed air: 16 November 2026
  • Starting date for the express surcharge on certain services: 27 October 2026

Please understand that we cannot guarantee the timely fulfillment of orders for suspensions and electricity that are received after the above-mentioned deadlines.

Express surcharge

We are happy to support your efforts to make your trade fair a success. To ensure that all services can be made available in a timely manner, we ask that you place your orders in the Shop for Exhibitor Services by no later than 26 October 2026. 

Naturally you can also place orders shortly before the event or even while it is in process. Please note, however, that increased expenditures are required to provide certain services with extensive planning/personnel requirements at short notice. As a result, some services are subject to an express surcharge in the amount of 25% of the service price for all orders received 21 days or less before the event.

  • The “Formnext Navigator” app is your perfect trade fair guide. It is available free of charge for Apple devices (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) in the App Store and for Android from Google Play Store.
  • The site map offers you an overview of all the exhibition areas at Formnext 2026.

Accessing the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling phases

Messe Frankfurt’s new Central Traffic Management system has offered customer vehicles optimised access to the exhibition grounds during the set-up and dismantling phases of events. For this purpose, we ask exhibitors, stand construction companies and freight forwarders to register online in advance.

Once you have a print-out of the registration confirmation, you can go to the specified check-in. Please follow the signs from the motorway exit F-Rebstock (address for your navigation device: Bruno-Poelke-Strasse).

During the set-up and dismantling phase (incl. early set-up and extended dismantling), vehicles may only access the exhibition grounds through the check-in. Here, the check-in staff will see whether a loading zone is available for you. If it is, you will be given an authorisation form specifying the gate through which you can access the exhibition grounds.

Please note: In case of high volume of traffic waiting times are possible at the check-in!
Please note that only vehicles with an authorisation form will be allowed on to the exhibition grounds.
