Information on set-up and dismantling
Set-up
Early set-up (subject to a fee)
(registration required, not available for all hall levels)
- 29.08.2026 to 02.09.2026: 07:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m.
- chargeable for stands under 200 m² (395,- € per day and stand)
- free of charge for stands from a size of 200 m2

Regular set-up
- 03.09.2026, from 07:00 a.m. (continuously) until 07.09.2026, 03:00 p.m.;
- afterwards (until 12:00 a.m.) within the stand area only due to carpet laying in the hall aisles.

Dismantling
Regular dismantling
The regular dismantling takes place from 13 September 2026 from 08:00 a.m. (continuously) until 14 September 2026, 09:00 p.m. and is free of charge.
During the regular dismantling times, work can be carried out in the halls continuously, i.e. 24 hours a day.
- 12.09.2026 from 05:00 p.m. until 08:00 p.m.: dismantling may only take place within the stands, as the carpet will be removed from the aisles and empty containers will be delivered by the trade fair forwarding agents. During this time, the freight elevators cannot be used.
- 08:00 p.m. to 03:00 a.m.: Entry for vehicles up to a maximum permissible total weight of 7.49 tons.
- 13.09.2026, 03:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m.: empties night, all vehicles must have left the site, except cars parked in parking areas P4, P9 and P12.
- 13.09.2026 from 08:00 a.m.: dismantling entry
Extended dismantling (registration required)
- 15.09.2026 from 07:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m.
- chargeable for stands under 200 m² (395,- € per day and stand)
- free of charge for stands from a size of 200 m2

Extended dismantling after 15.09.2026 is not possible.

Deadlines for Automechanika Frankfurt 2026
Please be sure to note the following dates and deadlines:
- Submission of stand construction plans requiring approval: 06.08.2026
- Deadline for ordering suspensions: 28.07.2026
- Starting date for the express surcharge on certain services: 18.08.2026
Please understand that we can no longer guarantee orders received for the suspension and electricity after the above-mentioned deadlines.

We are happy to support your efforts to make your trade fair a success. To ensure that all services can be made available in a timely manner, we ask that you place your orders in the Shop for Exhibitor Services by no later than 17th August 2026.
Naturally you can also place orders shortly before the event or even while it is in process. Please note, however, that increased expenditures are required to provide certain services with extensive planning/personnel requirements at short notice. As a result, some services are subject to an express surcharge in the amount of 25% of the service price for all orders received 21 days or less before the event.

Accessing the exhibition grounds during set-up and dismantling phases
Messe Frankfurt’s new Central Traffic Management system has offered customer vehicles optimised access to the exhibition grounds during the set-up and dismantling phases of events. For this purpose, we ask exhibitors, stand construction companies and freight forwarders to register online in advance.
Once you have a print-out of the registration confirmation, you can go to the specified check-in. Please follow the signs from the motorway exit F-Rebstock (address for your navigation device: Bruno-Poelke-Strasse).
During the set-up and dismantling phase (incl. early set-up and extended dismantling), vehicles may only access the exhibition grounds through the check-in. Here, the check-in staff will see whether a loading zone is available for you. If it is, you will be given an authorisation form specifying the gate through which you can access the exhibition grounds.
Please note: In case of high volume of traffic waiting times are possible at the check-in!
